Or So He Thinks

Sharon Mensah is done. Ten years engaged to Adeola with nothing to show for it. Adeola's an only child, and ever since he was born, his life and path had been decided for him by his parents. The one thing he wants is to at least be able to choose his own life partner, so when Sharon finally calls it off, he doesn't fight for her. He thinks he's free at last.

So how can he explain the hollowness he feels inside now that she's gone? He's watching her build the life and career she's always wanted, without him in it. And he can't stop thinking he's supposed to be by her side, cheering her on. Now, he has to do all it takes to show her he's loved her all along, he only convinced himself that he didn't.
